Operation shed 5 stone: November 2012
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Saturday, 17 November 2012. Back to the drawing board, again. This would set me up perfectly for a sub60 in next year’sRegency 10k. Tuesday, 6 November 2012. Well this week was the dreaded monthly weigh in. Again I had been confident up until Saturday, where it all went wrong just two days before I was due to step on the scales. I'm not saying being ill is an excuse to eat rubbish, but it was the reason that I did it. I'll come back to that later. On paper this doesn't really look...

Operation shed 5 stone: May 2013
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Tuesday, 28 May 2013. Time for some honesty. Ok, lets be honest about this. Since I have started this journey of losing weight, I've achieved so much, and shown that I have the potential to do what ever I put my mind to, right? When I read this I was really chuffed for her, she has obviously worked really hard for this, but I couldn't help thinking "hmmmm, howcome it hasn't worked for me? Why am I still struggling? Absolutely not, it's me that decides what I shove in my mouth, no ...

Operation shed 5 stone: Its like I'm almost a professional!
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2013/07/its-like-im-almost-professional.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Sunday, 7 July 2013. Its like I'm almost a professional! But I guess it won't get any easier if I keep avoiding it! Other than that mini strop this week has been a great week of training. I have managed to get the motivation back, to get back into the gym for my weight sessions again, which resulted in the most incredible DOMS which only got worse as the week went on, to the point that when I went back to the gym Wednesday the legs were still pretty painful. I DO NOT like the heat!

Operation shed 5 stone: October 2012
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Friday, 26 October 2012. Since my return to running, it appears that I'm actually quite good at it! I have to give credit to the spin/RPM classes as I know that’s what kick-started my improved fitness but also losing the weight has had a massive impact. Myself and my running friends (Jo, Sharon and Clair) or as Jo called us "The Regs" have entered a 5k race on 17th November and the goal is to get sub30. Well she must be as secretly all the fasties love running with us Regs! It see...

Operation shed 5 stone: January 2013
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Friday, 25 January 2013. Sub 30 5km.Finally! You may have read previous posts where I have talked about breaking 30 minutes for a 5km, and how I just couldn't do it. I almost became obsessed with it and I imagine this got boring for my friends and those following me on Twitter! If you don't fail, you're not trying hard enough. I could draw a line in the sand now from playing at it and actually doing it, and I now have that benchmark and know what I need to do to improve it. As if ...

Operation shed 5 stone: March 2013
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Saturday, 23 March 2013. I heart running again! Had you asked me 6 months ago if I could ever enjoy running again, I would have said never! Training for London Marathon destroyed me, don't get me wrong, an incredible experience and a day I will never forget, but I wasn't in the right physical condition and have suffered ever since with really painful shin splints, so running this past year hasn't been a pleasant experience! Janet, Tina, Tanya and Nikki. She told me that it was exc...

Operation shed 5 stone: December 2012
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Sunday, 30 December 2012. What a difference a year makes. But I piled it on during training, and I ended up looking like this:. I was looking through all my London Marathon photos the other day and to be honest I was shocked at what I saw. I know I have lost a lot of weight this year, 32lbs to be exact, but I had no idea how bad I looked! I must admit that it was a great boost in confidence going to Christmas to see that all the hard work over the last 6 months had paid off. Part ...

Operation shed 5 stone: Hello Mr Tarmac
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2013/06/hello-mr-tarmac.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Sunday, 30 June 2013. So yesterday I picked up the bike, along with the shoes so I would be clipped in from the off! So this morning came and I had planned to take the bike out for a few miles. I didn't want to go too far as I've not yet bought inner tubes and all that rubbish (I'm not quite sure what I would do with them if I did have them anyway) but I wanted to make sure that I could get home, and today was all about getting used to being clipped in. 15 lat pull down. This was ...

Operation shed 5 stone: July 2013
http://lozzatron5.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Operation shed 5 stone. Saturday, 27 July 2013. I seem to be a bit behind with my blog, no reason, just busy. So a quick catch up on what I got up to last weekend. I only went and ran in the bloody Olympic stadium! This probably isn't new news to lots of you, as there were over 12000 people running in the Anniversary Run and many of them have blogged about it. So here is the race from my point of view. The first mile was a little annoying, and was among the list as long as my arm on things that were anno...
