Birmingham Bucket List
http://www.fromthenorthtothesouth.com/birmingham-bucket-list
From the North to the South. And all the stops along the way. Now that Birmingham, AL is home, here are the things I want to do in the city:. Fireworks at the Vulcan. Go to Railroad Park. Coffee at Urban Standard. Check out What’s on Second. Reading and more coffee at Church Street Coffee and Books. See a movie at the Alabama Theater. Al’s Deli and Grill. Watch the sun set from Red Mountain. Hike in Ruffner Mountain Park. Jog on the Jemison Trail. Run the Mercedes Marathon (just the 5K). I love it here!

From the North to the South. And all the stops along the way. What I Read – May. June 10, 2015. You know how I was a reading machine in April. Well I did not keep that up in May. I knew that starting back to work would keep me from reading as much, but this month I was just not feeling reading. You see 4 books here. That’s not too bad…well one of them I didn’t even finish because I couldn’t get through it. I did manage to read 2 books from my 2015 Reading List. So I think it was a successful month. Thank...

All through high school, I was the one with a million different Bath and Body Works body sprays in my backpack and locker. Once I graduated high school, I also graduated to perfumes. I was contacted by Scentbird. To try them out, and I definitely was excited to do so. You sign up and take a quiz. It figures out what your personal taste is…. Do you prefer floral or fruit? Coffee Date On my heart. April 7, 2015. Join me for a bit, won’t you? I suppose it’s time for a coffee date to do some explaining and some chatting. Finding life in the little things. December 10, 2012. May 8, 2015. Have you ever wallowed? Watch Mike’s explanation of living loved in the video above. The following are just a few points that I pulled out because they especially impacted my thinking. I was so bad that Jesus had to die for me. This knowledge robs me of my right to be proud. Finding life in the little things. May 19, 2015. May 19, 2015. How do I jump back into the conversation? I hope that in sharing my journey, I may be a comfort to you as well. We have all fallen short of the life that we ought to live. We have all placed things of the this earth and this life above our Holy Heavenly Lord. Finding life in the little things. March 31, 2013. May 8, 2015. Today is Easter, and that is a pretty big deal in the Christian tradition. Without the resurrection of Jesus, Christianity would basically not exist. Today we went to church, remembered Jesus’ sacrifice, celebrated his life and work, and stood in awe at the grace that his resurrection has brought into our lives. Prayer is simple →.
