I just want to say thank you for all your comments, last night i had a few of the kids catching up on reading them and they really are encouraged by the fact you guys are reading, responding and praying. Today we went back to the church location from yesterday and did construction work and spent time just hanging out with the people there. It's about 9:30 here ans we have recieved a warm welcome from the missionaries Tim and Meradeth as well as the interns staying here. Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Hi, sounds from the comments no one is sick of these blogs yet which is good :). Today we had some awesome time at bongolo hopsital praying for people, and by people i mean dozens of people,it was amazing. This afternoon we did some more road buiding and today the dirt had to be shoveled by hand into the truck and then hauled to our location(yesterday we had a frontloader) so some of our crew were down by the pile digging there and the rest of us were paving the road. Sunday, July 19, 2009. So today we went to the church we are going to be working with this week. it was an incredible experience to say the least. two hours or so long of people so hungry for God. Saturday, July 11, 2009. And away we go! Today we begin our journey! In just a few hours we will be boarding the plane heading first for a layover in Paris and then onto Gabon! The first leg of our trip will send us out to Bongolo Hospital where we will be helping to build/repair a road. Hopefully the 10hr bus trip to Bongolo will go smoothly, literally the road leading there is incredibly bumpy we are told! We'll also be able to explore the area there during our few days there including some caves.
