August 23, 2009. Park City Half Marathon. Here we are before the race. Running 13.1 miles was a mind over matter experience (I can't imagine doing a FULL marathon! And it was definitely not easy for me. The course is beautiful though and the scenery made it quite enjoyable. We crossed the finish line together at 2 hours, 12 minutes, and 59 seconds. July 29, 2009. Had some fun times on the old San Fran trolley ride to Fisherman's Wharf. :). Boats on the wharf. Boat ride out to Alcatraz Island. Alcatraz Island - loved this tour. so eerie and fun at the same time. Al Capone was a prisoner here! We were still excited about the show from the night before.see a resemblance? Hanging out in the hotel after a long day of shopping. It was a great trip and I can't wait to go back! It's just difficult to approach such big changes and dive into the unknown!

July 5, 2009. Last Friday was a tough day. An end of an era, if you will. :) It was my last day as a paralegal at Lee and Hayes. It's hard to believe that I worked there for almost two years! Even though my last day was a sad one, and a few tears were shed, it was the best day of work I have EVER had. The firm put on a big lunch in honor of my last day and the food was fantastic. After lunch, one of the partners got up and made a little speech that made me (and a few others) cry! July 5, 2009 at 9:13 PM.

July 11, 2009. What a whirlwind the past few weeks have been! Sadly, Gage had to fly back up to Spokane on Sunday in order to start school the following day. I stayed in Utah because there are about a million things I need to do before school starts! My mom has been a HUGE help to me this past week in helping me prepare for teaching. Cannon is swimming at 15 months. Here is the footage that we took of Cannon swimming. He started at 15 months and this is at 16 months the first time he went swimming with floaters. On he didn't know how to control his breathing. It seemed like he was in a panic yet excited state. The second time however he was like how he is in this video. He has picked up easily the rhythm.
