We all have a story to tell. Some speak louder than others. Listen closely to hear the stories of our ancestors echoing under our footsteps. They are the authors. We are the keepers. View my complete profile. Monday, February 22, 2010. Let's do what we do best, Scoob! Mystery at the Corner of Brown and Hess (1879). Obituary of Charles Judson, age 3 (1879). Google Maps shows a building still standing at the corner of Brown and Hess; could that be the Judson home still standing? Look for obvious clues.

Embrace Your Ugly | Gabbygabsalot's Blog
https://gabbygabsalot.wordpress.com/2010/06/15/embrace-your-ugly
You think it…I say it…. Say Hello…Then Say What You Want →. June 15, 2010. When I was a kid I was often mistaken for a boy. I blame both my parents and myself. My parents kept my hair short and dressed me in unisex clothing. However, I loved to play in the mud with hotwheels and farm toys. I could get mad everytime I get dressed, but instead I’ve learned to embrace my ugly. Sure I’d like to change a few things about myself. Who wouldn’t? This entry was posted in Life. Social Non-Talking | Gabbygabsalot's Blog

You think it…I say it…. September 13, 2010. My day is filled with bings, pings and rings. Those are the sounds my cellphone makes when I get a tweet, text or e-mail. That racket is in addition to the traditional noise my phone makes when I get an actual call. (Which is rare these days, because no one really likes to “talk” anymore). I like social-networking, but sometimes the constant communicating can feel like a chore. Other days I practice “social non-talking”. The silence calms my soul. I am the high...

Sleep Deprived | Gabbygabsalot's Blog

You think it…I say it…. Social Non-Talking →. August 10, 2010. Last week I lost my keys…. My husband found them in the refridgerator. I also misplaced my phone…. I located them when my trash can started ringing. Working the graveyard shift had clearly affected both my mind and my body. My internal clock had crashed…. I was sleep deprived…. I love sleep but often try and function without it. It’s amazing how something as simple as talking can be difficult when you’re running on fumes. I won’t lie...

Funeral Cards & Genealogy: Ancestor Approved
http://funeralcards.blogspot.com/2010/04/ancestors-approved.html
Funeral Cards and Genealogy. What can be learned from a simple funeral card? Of all the funeral cards, that circulate out there, I wonder how many ever find their way back to the families of origin. A simple funeral card is the summation of a life lived. Enjoy the discovery process. Friday, April 2, 2010. Yesterday I was presented the "Ancestors Approved" award by Lori. Of the Genealogy and Me. To continue to search for the parents of George Bright Frazier (1854-1921). John Schwartz was orphaned by age 10.
