http://fictualities.livejournal.com/84802.html
Breaking up is hard to do: on culling a book hoard. Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 - 9:12 am. Do you throw out books? When you buy a book, is it marriage, or is it just a getting-to-know-you date? Oh, the agony. How can you make this decision? It's true that some. I guess the answer to that question is this: owning a book, I think, is quite different from just reading it. This will sound a bit weird, but for me a book is more than an orderly little pile of paper. It represents, in material form, the ...Somet...

Brit-picking tool for writers and other word-lovers: the British National Corpus - Fictualities
http://fictualities.livejournal.com/88436.html
Brit-picking tool for writers and other word-lovers: the British National Corpus. Wednesday, March 26th, 2008 - 4:10 pm. Have you ever wondered how the British use a word like "pavement" or "jumper"? In fandom, non-British writers with such questions can get their fic Brit-picked, and that's a terrific idea. But Brit-picking has its limitations. RIP - All Frodo, All Aragorn, All the Time (well, mostly)

RIP - All Frodo, All Aragorn, All the Time (well, mostly). Bottoms Up, Frodo! An Archive of Medically Graphic Frodo Fiction. Lilys Fics and Ramblings. Mar 1st, 2015 12:14 am. I was very sad to hear of Leonard Nimoy's passing. My first super-sized fandom crush, Mr. Spock. I spent the years from 1984 to 2001 voraciously reading Star Trek fanfiction and hunting down Spock h/c. It was torture in those years before the 'net. I actually owned fanzines. Since there wasn't anything else! 2015-03-01 12:57 pm (UTC).
