Georgia Hoops: February 2009
http://georgiahoops.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 28, 2009. Quick Saturday night wrap-up. My battery on my phone died early tonight. Not a big surprise really. The text messages were flying in at a quick pace. The web-browser was working overtime trying to collect the scores. And, of course, plenty of phone calls to keep T-Mobile in business in this dire economic state. So, what did we learn in the first round? 1 Region 6-AAAAA is no joke. 2 Class A is probably the best tournament from top to bottom in the state. Upsets of round 1.

Catfish and Cornbread: Mark Fox, Travis Leslie, etc.
http://www.catfishandcornbread.com/2010/01/mark-fox-travis-leslie-etc.html
On Earth as it is in Georgia. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Mark Fox, Travis Leslie, etc. Go to Stegeman tonight to watch Coach Fox go for his second straight home win over a ranked team. We play #23 Ole Miss at 8pm. And it's worth going just to see the second coming of Reggie Tinch. Watching the Travis Leslie dunk on Cousins from Kentucky just doesn't get old. My favorite part is the smile that Fox has on his face. Check out Conner Nolte's blog Passer's Remorse. October 25, 2013 at 12:52 AM.
Catfish and Cornbread: The next great Dawg?
http://www.catfishandcornbread.com/2010/01/next-great-dawg.html
On Earth as it is in Georgia. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. The next great Dawg? 2011 Carver prospect Isaiah Crowell. He runs like Richard Samuel, if the hole is there he hits it and he is fast. January 27, 2010 at 12:23 PM. He stays lower, changes direction, and does not go down at first contact. His running instincts are better. Hard to say he runs like Samuel. January 27, 2010 at 12:56 PM. Speaking of Samuel.he will be an all-american in the 3-4. Going to be an animal on defense. And he doesnt run like...

National Hoops Report: Live: Arkansas-Little Rock at Tulsa
http://nationalhoopsreport.blogspot.com/2009/11/live-arkansas-little-rock-at-tulsa.html
Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Live: Arkansas-Little Rock at Tulsa. Just woke up from a power nap and apparently the game is over. I think Tulsa won. Not sure if it really matters. Finally, some excitement. Donte Medder of Tulsa has shown me enough to keep me intrigued for anything longer than 30 seconds. Charlie Coles' press conference is now on YouTube. Best post-game dialogue this year. Go ahead and end that contest. Evan Daniels is reporting. Ugh Another sluggish 1st half of basketball in the books.

National Hoops Report: Live: Charlotte at Duke
http://nationalhoopsreport.blogspot.com/2009/11/live-charlotte-at-duke.html
Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Live: Charlotte at Duke. Time to put this game to bed. It is 85-50 in favor of Duke. Hard to watch. Tennessee is up 39-6 over UNC Asheville. The blowouts continue. Andre Dawkins won't be a major player for Duke this year but he'll be the team's top scorer as a junior or senior. He's a star player in waiting. Jimmy Dykes is nailing it with Nolan Smith. Is he an elite level guard in the ACC? He'll be much better off the ball. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 24 Hours of Hoop.
