Friday, July 23, 2010. More Than Defined: Meow! I’m a Scaredy Cat. 8220;She turned off the TV! My new friend ( Nony from A Slob Comes Clean. Called me out, right there in the pizza buffet line. I think she may have even pointed her finger. Of course, I’m joking. She said she just got caught up in the excitement of my tiny little rebellious move. The pizza joint we ate dinner in was noisy, and the over-sized flat-screen above our heads didn’t help matters. So I turned it off. You know, just like Baby.

Monday, July 12, 2010. Pizza Crust from Scratch. About a week ago, I saw Jill. Post a question on Twitter. She was looking for a good recipe for blueberry muffins. Because I am well-known as a cooking expert, I replied. I said, “88-cent mix from the store water bake for 10 min = Voila! She didn’t like my answer. Apparently she was looking for something with more ingredients and less packaged mixes. I still don’t understand that. Oh yeah. I could make like my friend Jill and actually bake from scratch!

Normally I let the kids at least choose the restaurant where we eat lunch, but Samuel was a trooper and just trusted that I would take him somewhere he liked.
