MARZOUQ-H00058930: June 2008
http://marzouq-h00058930.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 4, 2008. 1 Narrow space between tall buildings–good because reducing the spaces between buildings creates a shad for longer periods of the day, which can prevents heat from generating in the walls witch will help to decrease the consumption of electricity by reducing the load on the cooling system. 2 Using hybrid cars– beneficial since the hybrid cars have no emissions of carbon dioxide. global warming: TDIC project
http://joooker3935.blogspot.com/2008/06/tdic-project.html
Thursday, June 5, 2008. My partner and I explored about the Grand Corniche Hotel. You can view our presentation which is set in below in this post. The presentation gives and idea. On the other hand, the least interesting project was Desert Islands because Dalma and Sir Bniyas Islands are normal and the other 6 islands will be artificial islands which are going to destroy the life in that area. Another reason which I do not like is that the budget for this project will be giant which about $ 3 billon.

Global Warming Project: June 2008
http://project-001.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 4, 2008. My partner Hader Al Muhairi and I researched About Qasr Al Sarab, one of the TDIC's projects in Abu Dhabi. The PowerPoint presentation which we did about it is embedded below. In conclusion, TDIC's project economically will succeed, but will produce some problems. For instance, the number of foreign people will be more than expected. Also if we think environmentally it will help to raise the UAE's carbon footprint. Read this doc on Scribd: Qasr Al Sarab. "My Profile": cool cities
http://abdulraahim.blogspot.com/2008/06/cool-cities.html
Thursday, June 5, 2008. Make a public transportation between the cool city and the residential area. Pollution would be less than when every individual use his car. Imagine how the reduction of the oil consumptions and other gases which comes from transportation will be! Plant green trees everywhere, in business/public zone, residential zone, culture/ sports zone, resort zone, and make the solar powered pant farms. All these will produce large quantities of fresh air which is good. Eng 174 CTA blogs.

globalwarming-mshateri: Cool Cities Comments
http://mshateri.blogspot.com/2008/06/cool-cities-comments.html
Sunday, June 1, 2008. The first useful thing of the cool cities is the Hybrid cars which would help in decreasing carbon dioxide emissions which resulted from most types of cars. The second benefit is the developing in the technique which reduces outside temperature and makes the city cooler. The last good point of the cool cities is the solar powered farms which considered a good method to provide the city with energy and prevent sand from coming into farms. June 5, 2008 at 12:52 AM.
