Friday, May 23, 2008. Dolores River May 2008. In May 2008 I was lucky enough to get down to the Dolores 3 times! Which is actually pretty amazing since this river barely ever runs. I have a total of 5 trips down the Ponderosa Gorge section now. Anasazi Indian Ruins a couple hundred feet off of the river. Scouting Snaggletooth Rapid. The hardest rapid during this 3 day trip. Thursday, June 11, 2009. Some Yukon, B.C. and Alaskan whitewater. We ran that stretch again the next day, but with all of us being a bit more on our game and it was a ton of fun. We are probably going to head up there and run it atleast one more time this weekend before the water starts to drop off to a more normal level.
