I'm 6 lbs lighter, I've really built up my endurance, and I still have a sore hamstring (although it is getting better). My massage therapist advised me to take it easy for a while till it got better. I told her she was nucking futs if she thought I was quitting now. Next week is a "rest week" (thank Christ). Riding, Running, and Reading in Wisconsin's Glacierland. Monday, July 26, 2010. Goal #1 - Achieved. Monday, July 12, 2010. So Gary and I are out riding yesterday morning when I hear a "POP". I wasn't a pop like I just rode over something I shouldn't have, it was different. I look between my legs to see the left arm of the v-brake kick out to the side every second or so. I also notice my wheel is wobbling like a drunk trying to leave the bar. I rode home. Gary should be back to normal by tomorrow afternoon.

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. I miss my theme music. I'm not crazy- these camps have rehearsals going constantly around the clock, and as it happened, the resident faculty orchestra was having rehearsal just across the pond. They were housed in a building, but since the rehearsal room opened up to the pond the music was able to find its way to all corners of the camp grounds. I put my headphones down, and enjoyed my own little live soundtrack. How picturesque is that moment? Where can I find that moment again?
