Reflections on Daily Life: December 2009
http://lrevillasdb.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Reflections on Daily Life. From a still-struggling seventy year old Salesian. Sunday, December 13, 2009. Rest now in God's peace Fr. Lazaro! We got the news of the passing away of Fr. Lazaro Revilla, SDB this morning. He went back home to Spain some time ago for vacation to meet his family and friends. It was there that our Lord deemed it proper to call him back to His embrace. He was 70 years old. Requiescat in pace Don Lazaro! Fr Lazaro Revilla, SDB. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Fr Lazaro Revilla, SDB.

The Pathway to Sainthood. You Can Do it…Jesus Can Help. May 24, 2008 in Uncategorized. May 21, 2008 in Uncategorized. I just got this phone call from the great Fr Franco saying I have officially been accepted into the Salesian Seminary for next year. Even though I pretty much knew I would be accepted, I cannot describe with words how excited I am that this is actually official. I honestly can’t believe I am officially a Salesian seminarian! Friend of the Young: January 2010

Friday, January 22, 2010. Little Laura was born in Argentina. That was where she grew up, where she met the Salesians, where she befriended Christ, where she gave her life for him. She died when she was not even thirteen years old. As a young girl, her mother sent her and her little sister to the Salesian Sisters’ school. Her mother then, to make money, began working for a man. He was not exactly a model Christian. He began to abuse her, and, when the girls were home, her daughters as well. She really to...

Michael, Gabriel and Raphael are called "saints" because they are holy. But they are different from the rest of the saints because they were not human. They are angels. They are protectors of human beings and we know something about each of them from the Bible. Michael's name means "who is like God? Friend of The Young. Labels: Saint of the day. Saint of the Day.
