Back in December 2011 when Grace and I found out that I would be deploying to Afghanistan, we got excited because we knew we would get to go on a vacation when I got home. After about five seconds, we both had decided we wanted to go back to Hawaii. This gave us something fun to look forward to during the deployment (and gave me something to plan on boring days). We decided to visit Kauai and Oahu this trip.

Monday, January 30, 2012. First Day of Daycare. I had to go back to work early before my maternity leave was up. We had a major teacher training at the end of January, so Mike, the baby and I all stayed in a hotel in Provo to be at the same hotel as the training. We had a fun adventure! Lil Jayson had an ear infection and a fever, but he was really good. It was a tough week diving back into work, but I feel so lucky that I love my job! We can do this!
