Wednesday, 15 July 2015. Vintage Pledge Pinafore Complete! How is your day going? I have finally reached the end of the five thousand social engagements that have taken up my every weekend for the past six weeks. I'm pretty tired, but only have a week and a half of work left so am looking forward to finally taking a moment off before Spud arrives! Pretty chuffed with that as my last hoorah for a while ha ha. Can you believe it? Im pretty sure that this is from the '70s. I used the stretch denim that I bo...

DFabrication: Red Gertie Hack
http://dfabricate.blogspot.com/2015/07/red-gertie-hack.html
Friday, 3 July 2015. I finally got a free evening to try and go swimming last night so off I trotted to the aquatic centre to give it a go. Mostly I went to feel the weightlessness of the baby in the water, as it is amazing! This top. no longer fits. Neither does the skirt! It's under a little bit of strain in this picture, and it only got worse I'm afraid. But I absolutely love it and can't wait to get it out of the wardrobe post-bump. Construction on this was crazy simple, I followed the instructions f...

DFabrication: Post Number 100 and a Floral Flora
http://dfabricate.blogspot.com/2015/08/post-number-100-and-floral-flora.html
Saturday, 1 August 2015. Post Number 100 and a Floral Flora. Happy Saturday puny humans! This is my one hundredth post woooo. I'm at the end of my first week of maternity leave, what a week! I've been out for lunch a couple of times, bought a lot of things online, painted one chest of drawers, started knitting a blanket and still managed to keep my feet up. Feel very pro-active! Though I did have lots of appointments and lunches to go to so maybe I'll lose some momentum next week. Also I think I could do...

Happy ‘yorkshire day’? July 17, 2011 · 19:17. Just back from the July Magpie Market – had a great day taking photos of all the wonderful stalls and crafting with the Granny Green’s crew. Running & Thinking: January 2011
http://runningandthinking.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
The title says it all. Wednesday, 19 January 2011. This is going to hurt tomorrow. I'm trying to get back into this blogging lark I really am. More an 2 posts a month would be a start. I've cooked for HH and Teech (again with the Orkney Fudge Cheesecake. Too good, and too easy to not make. and a stoved chicken thing that was all potato, chicken and garlic goodness). This was before it baked in the oven for about 75mins. The delightful shine is all buttery goodness. Or as I think of it - truly the best cr...

August 7, 2011 · 11:58. I have really enjoyed doing bits and pieces of writing lately… on Friday I made a trip to the Hannah Zakari. Shoppe to pick up my copy of their spangly new zine, a collection of interviews, reviews, arty features and tutorials. I was excited to get my copy – not only because it’s a beautiful little magazine full of insider info on some of the fun places to visit in Edinburgh – but also to see my name in print! Also, The Jazz Emporium. Last Saturday. You can read it here. Address n...

happy ‘yorkshire day’?! | snapandstitch
https://snapandstitch.wordpress.com/2011/08/01/happy-yorkshire-day
August 1, 2011 · 22:05. Happy ‘yorkshire day’? Apparently today is Yorkshire Day. Not that I want to diminish the great county – I am a great fan of it and grateful to have grown up in Sheffield, South Yorkshire (otherwise known as the People’s Republic / The Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire. But I think that a national day to celebrate is perhaps, well, a little out of character…. Here’s a very Sheffield track from The Arctic Monkeys. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
