Shameless Exploitation «Making of an Angel Making of an Angel

Making of an Angel. Friday, Dec 13 2013. Kat, Holly & Bri. What with being recently returned from the other side of the country, I’m looking for a job. There’s a big difference between job hunting in the middle of a small town, middle of nowhere area and a huge city packed with dogs and their people. The competition around here is rough! Today I had my first interview with a lovely daycare facility. OCD little job hunter that I am I always write thank you notes that I mail directly after an interview.

Brigantia «Making of an Angel Making of an Angel

Making of an Angel. Brigantia, or as we call her, Bri, is my little Newfoundland girl. About two years after I got Holly, and shortly after washing Holly out of Service Dog training, I began the search for the pup that would turn out to be Bri. I honestly can say I had no desire for a second dog. I’m not rich, and I really enjoy being able to lavish one pup with all the attention, treats, and training rather than having to worry about two pups. Bri, the Green Collar Girl, at 2 weeks. At this point she...

2015 March «Making of an Angel Making of an Angel
https://angelofthemind.wordpress.com/2015/03
Making of an Angel. Tuesday, Mar 17 2015. Kat, Holly & Bri. It’s been a while, a little over a year now since I last updated my blog. 2014 was an incredibly busy year for me and my pack. My daughter was born in February. From there things have just been wild and hectic. I’ve decided to pick up this blog again because it seems to be one of the very few ways I can easily keep track of training. I’m an abysmal note taker, and up until about a year ago, keeping notes in my head worked okay. In other news, Ho...

A Little Project «Making of an Angel Making of an Angel
https://angelofthemind.wordpress.com/2014/01/23/a-little-project
Making of an Angel. Thursday, Jan 23 2014. Kat, Holly & Bri. Generally speaking I limit my projects to things revolving around the wonderful world of dog training. However, I do also enjoy the occasional handwork project. Some of these other hobbies that occupy my (little) spare time are fiber spinning and knitting. I have a friend that I met while in Georgia, and she is pregnant with her third child, a little boy. This inevitably leads to a fiber project! Holly and Bri had to help of course. Fill in you...

Miraculous Journey: Five Years & Some Thoughts
http://ccipuppyblog.blogspot.com/2014/11/five-years-some-thoughts.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Five Years and Some Thoughts. It's pretty amazing how fast time flies, isn't it? I haven't given up on big commitment stuff. In fact, I still wish I had the time to come back to CCI and raise more pups, but I know that's just not where I'm going right now. A lot of neat opportunities have arisen over the last few months and I've started to see that maybe letting go of CCI was a good thing for my personal walk. Elijah with no puppy, but an open heart.
