After she had looked at it for a few minutes, Alligator came in (he's 3 now! And asked Cricket if she would like him to read that to her. In the back of my mind, I was a little annoyed. I mean, I was trying to read while it was still quiet in the house- and now I had two very young children in the room with me! What if I had sent him away?

Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Julia was born this morning. She weighed in at 9 lbs, 10 oz, and is 22 in long. Both mommy and baby are doing very well. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Well, we may have shattered some kind of record. The bank approved our short sale 9 days (count 'em, NINE) after our offer was submitted. A family in our ward just got theirs approved after nine MONTHS. So we count ourselves lucky! After some headache we got the home inspection completed today, and the house has a clean bill of health!

Wednesday, November 3, 2010. At times like this, I wish I had Brian's gift for poetry, or my sister Tamarie's gift for capturing a moment in careful words which make you feel like you were there. I don't have that gift. So I may not be able to effectively express what I want to say. But I'm going to try anyway. This morning a friend and I had arranged to do a babysitting swap so that we could both have a chance to go to the gym and work out. At the last minute her baby got sick so she had to cancel.
