Guatemala Missions 2008

Friday, July 25, 2008. Guatemala Day 6 Kelli's Update. Hey everyone, it’s Kelli. I can’t believe it’s already Friday night! This week has gone by faster than I had thought it would. It was cool to see the result of all of our hard work helping build part of the house all week, it has come together really well, mostly because we had lots of help from our 2 amigos. After finishing our building for the day, we had the opportunity to visit pastor Eric’s church. They all are so fascinated with cameras and lov...

Guatemala Missions 2008: Guatemala Day 3 "Kitchen Duty" by Bekah Sipe

http://www.guatemalamissions2008.blogspot.com/2008/07/guatemala-day-3-kitchen-duty-by-bekah.html

Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Guatemala Day 3 "Kitchen Duty" by Bekah Sipe. Hey everyone this is Bekah Sipe! It’s our third day here in. And so far the trip has been so amazing for me. The day started off with breakfast, and after working one full day on the construction of the elderly home I was expecting pretty much the same thing today; however, today I was needed in another place that was a little more familiar to me… the kitchen. In the evening, we visited a church to present our dramas. It reminded me of...

Guatemala Missions 2008: Guatemala Day 2 Building Project

http://www.guatemalamissions2008.blogspot.com/2008/07/guatemala-day-2-building-project.html

Monday, July 21, 2008. Guatemala Day 2 Building Project. Today we started our building project and we are all now skilled carpenters! We got a few lessons on how to begin building and we got to work right away. We broke up into four groups, each with a mission to build a wall. We are about 90% done with stage 1. We should be able to raise our walls tomorrow and start seeing our second story take shape. We are building a home for the elderly and orphans. There is a great need in. Guatemala Day 5 Volcano.

Guatemala Missions 2008: Guatemala Day 1

http://www.guatemalamissions2008.blogspot.com/2008/07/guatemala-day-1.html

Sunday, July 20, 2008. Dear Friends and Family,. Our first day of ministry in. I am very proud of our kids and how they are stepping up. We have three dramas that we are currently doing at each service, and the kids are performing them with great passion! I have seen them all many times, but I still get excited to see Jesus run into the dramas and crush Satan and pull us out of darkness. It is amazing to me how God’s presence cuts through every cultural barrier. Our trip has already been a HUGE success!

Matt and ben had a grand ole time riding bikes and skateboards in front of nanny's house. i became designated picture taker. her extra-long driveway made for a great runway for the skateboard. ben loves the skateboard! GUATEMALA MISSIONS MINISTRY - Home

Link to watch a video. We believe that the basic way of carrying out the task of Church Planting and Be an example of growth is to mobilize church members and free to do the work of ministry. That is the  as a group of volunteer leaders have pledged to carry on and will to do for the glory of God as far as we can. We believe that the spontaneous expansion of the Church led by the Holy Spirit is the greatest force that can be deployed for the mission that Jesus Christ commissioned us to be fulfilled.
