My understanding from the presentation, to be a good qualitative researcher is to be able to understand, putting oneself in the shoe of the respondent and understand the respondent situation. This is because the researcher needs to be able to express the inner insight of the ‘data’ and presenting it as near as possible from the respondent’s perspective.
