Monday, February 13, 2012. 1400 days of mourning the loss of a man who changed my life and showed me how to love. Time has not healed any wounds. I particularly hate that adage. I am sure it was written by someone who has never lost someone they truly loved. Admittedly, time has given me space to begin to accept, because familiar with, adjust to, and deal with my loss. But 1400 days can seem like only 1 in an instant.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Day 2- Biochemo without the bio! We are in Chicago now. After getting the MRI results on Friday, Dr.Hallmeyer decided to start Sean back up on biochemo, but without the bio! So Sean finished his first dose of chemo last night. He is feeling great, he does not even have to be hooked up to any IVs during the day! No side effects yet- wahoo! Anyways, the hospital is boring, the food is horrible and its hot! Ok- theres my complaining for the week! Links to this post. Links to this post.

Things I learned this summer:. Traveling by Amtrak is a lot of fun, especially when I am the sole driver of the family and. So unbelievably tired of doing all the driving. Friday, August 27, 2010. I can't sleep. Again. I am on my 3rd night in a row that I h ave been up past midnight. Thought tonight I would get on the computer and hope my eyes get sleepy really quick! It was an awful moment. Because these are the things I can't fix. He essentially cried himself to sleep because he wasn't awake enough to wake all the way up, and his sobbing wore him out pretty fast. Sometimes I am so mad. Why am I crying about this? Why can't I get it through my head that this is how it is?
