Sunday, November 23, 2014. The Primary Sacrament Meeting Program is a BIG DEAL with the Hispanics in New Jersey! This is what they would have used to accompany their singing. Look at this sweet group! After the program the children went upstairs for their classes and then they met in the Primary room for a fiesta. It was very nice (yet wild). Sunday, December 21, 2014. As I have gone through all our photos for the last couple of weeks, I can see that we have had a very festive December! As we crossed the bridge into town we could watch some fishermen off to the side (below the bridge) as they fished. It was a cold day, but that didn't seem to bother the fishermen. Even though we miss not being with our family and loved ones at home, we are certainly surrounded here with new friends and our great young single adults who feel like family now.

Thursday, February 3, 2011. Gong Hey Fat Choy. That's the phonetic spelling for how you wish someone a happy new year, in Chinese. Translated, it's actually closer to, "May you become prosperous.". For Gregory's homework, he had to go to a specific website and find out what Chinese year he was born and then complete a worksheet. Turns out he was born in the year of the Ram (2003). I found a great recipe for Sweet and Sour chicken. It was a little involved, but SO yummy! And defaulting back to the hands.
