Fellow Traveler: Progress not Perfection
http://ftaca.blogspot.com/p/keep-track-of-your-progress.html
We suggest you keep track of what you do in recovery. On a bad day, you forget how far you've come. Give yourself little presents after you've attended six meetings, for example. The ACA text encourages us to take "gentleness breaks." We ACA's are very hard on ourselves. We can't emphasize it enough: Keep track of what you do. Reward yourself for each and every accomplishment. Read literature (buy ACA books here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We pass on the gift of recovery which was given to each us us.

A Journey...: I Believed
http://zebraspolkadotsandplaids.blogspot.com/p/i-believed.html
An amazing journey of hope, healing and self discovery! Seek Knowledge, find Wisdom, live your Truth™. My version of the Patrick Overton poem. When I came to the edge of all the light that I had and I had to take a step into the darkness of the unknown, I truly believed that one of two things would happen to me; either there would be something to stand on, or, I would be taught how to fly. And began to soar. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe to our mailing list. Follow me on Twitter. To create your o...

Learning how to process past and new trauma's so they are a part of our memories instead of a chronic nightmare. Sks. I Don't Want to Talk About It. For the longest time I held onto resentments. I mean - really - how could I forgive those who had affected my life and changed me forever? Unchain My Heart…. We do n...

An amazing journey of hope, healing and self discovery! Seek Knowledge, find Wisdom, live your Truth™. Monday, February 14, 2011. Be Your Own Hero. I can never become what I was meant to be when I am looking for what might have been. In last nights episode of Smallville. I found a very simple, yet profound lesson. A lesson that is key to "getting over" the past and letting go of trying to create the future - which only serves to steal from my today. They both get their wishes. Chloe cheers Clark on - Cla...
