Tuesday, October 25, 2011. A Phoenix Photo Diary. Two of the four Conrad girls visited a most beloved little sister at her new school (! In Phoenix last weekend. Good times and college nostalgia ensued (and possible heat stroke delirium). Thursday, October 20, 2011. Thursday, October 13, 2011. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Friday evening: grabbed dinner in Little Italy with some friends - one of whom was (at the time) very, very. Saturday: after a leisurely morning of breakfast, parts I and II*, we hiked up ...

Monday, June 16. I call myself an avid reader but the truth really is that I used. To be an avid reader. Between work and school, I haven't had a whole lot of spare time over the past couple of years. The free time I have in the mornings and evenings is usually devoted to working out, doing stuff around the house, or spending time with Mister. I always tell myself that I'll read more when things slow down, but that doesn't ever seem to happen. The Fault in Our Stars. This is the Story of a Happy Marriage.

Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Back in August we flew up to Portland for a long weekend with these hooligans. They took us all over their new(ish) city by way of public transit, foot, Subaru, inflatable canoe, and aerial tram while patiently tolerating our questions. "Now, what river is that? Is this southeast or northwest, er, wait-" "Is this near where we were last night? Wait-" "Should your car be making that noise? More music at Mississippi Studios Bar Bar. Late night showing of Star Trek.

Coco Sunday: September 2010
http://coco-sunday.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 29 September 2010. Sometimes the ordinary day to day stuff is just there in the background and you don't really appreciate it when it's there all the time. One day recently; on a grey and drizzly day I looked out of my window at work. It was so rainy but there was a little bit of sun peeking through and I switched the settings on the camera to manual to capture the blur. If you look hard enough, I mean really hard enough, the loveliness is there where-ever you are. Monday, 27 September 2010.

Coco Sunday: October 2010

Thursday, 21 October 2010. The road less travelled. The mornings are getting so dark around here, that most of the journey to work is done in darkness now. I have to confess though to a certain fondness for seeeing the world wake up and the sun rise, even if it is through the windows of the car. I'm beginning to get my mojo back again and am still enjoying the mondo beyondo. Wednesday, 6 October 2010. I'm trying to spend more time doing the things I enjoy, instead of running around like a headless chicke...

A creative isthmus: September 2011
http://creativeisthmus.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
There has been a bit of a creative spurt over the last few days-maybe it's the impending change of seasons, maybe it's the idea that, as an artist, if I am hoping to give handmade gifts this coming holiday season, I have already painted myself into a tight corner, time wise. Whatever the motivation or inspiration, I have been working on several projects at one time and ideas have been flowing freely. Asbury Park summer weekend. As the sun sets.). The light at the end of the tunnel.). Is always love.).

A creative isthmus: March 2011
http://creativeisthmus.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Spring is such a nice time to move. Dear friends, I have decided that we all need to pull up stakes and move-today preferably but I can wait until tomorrow, if need be. The good news is:I have found the perfect place for us all to move to: Marrakech. A blog I sometimes read has convinced me that this IS the place for all of us. See here if you require convincing. I have found a very nice man in Marrakech. Who sells and renovates riads (What is a "riad" you might ask? S imply looking at his blog. A roof f...

How to wear a watch. Fashion, design, food, life: the personal musings of a curious mind. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. I love the colors of these mittens- such a lovely array of warm, earthy tones. (which makes sense because they are knitted with wool that was dyed in 1982 by the artist's mother and grandmother with forest plants that they had gathered. seriously?
