Rollstuhlroboter MeBot erklimmt Treppen selbstst. Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung IPA. Rollstuhlroboter MeBot erklimmt Treppen selbstständig. Mit seinen drei Radeinheiten ist es dem Rollstuhlroboter MeBot erstmals möglich, Treppen und Bordsteine zu überwinden. Auf sechs Rädern erklimmt der Rollstuhl Hindernisse stückweise. Das Fraunhofer IPA hat bei MeBot ein Radarmodul integriert, das Hindernisse wie Treppenstufen sicher erkennt und den Automatismus zum Überwinden auslöst.
