Hong Kong Eats – High Tea and High Heels
http://highteaandhighheels.com/category/hong-kong-eats
High Tea and High Heels. A blog by Stephanie Whiteley. Travel and Personal Experiences. Steamy Seafood Cuisine – Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, food is very much about the experience as well as the flavour. There are hot pot dinners, cartoon character dim sum brunches, the Chinese 12 course banquet -style dinners and even outdoor barbecue spots where you have a buffet of foods available to cook. Then once all the steaming had been done, the steamer came off and in the pot underneath (instead o...

High Tea and High Heels. A blog by Stephanie Whiteley. Travel and Personal Experiences. Plum and Spilt Milk – Kings Cross, London, UK. Jack and I recently went to Plum and Spilt Milk just by King Cross Station (before he went gallivanting around France following the Euro Cup). Downstairs there is a cocktail bar with a bar snack menu and upstairs is the dining room, which is where we sat. The food was really good quality and so delicious but we ordered a little too much and it was surprisingly filling.

High Tea and High Heels. A blog by Stephanie Whiteley. Travel and Personal Experiences. La Fabrica – Finsbury Park, London. There are actually quite a few good restaurants around the Crouch End/Finsbury Park/Highbury vicinity which I have been discovering since I have moved into the area last year. It’s an area that has been slowly gentrifying and I am absolutely loving exploring it. We were so full from all the little plates – but when the dessert menu came and we saw churros with warm dark chocol...

All things to do with books and publishing as well as general thoughts and views on life! Bookish News and Reflections. 8216;A Lovely Way to Burn’ by Louise Welsh. September 21, 2015. Any regular readers of my blog will know that I have a thing for dystopian fiction. I also love a good crime novel. | Baking, desserts, all things sweet and 'High Tea'
Baking, desserts, all things sweet and 'High Tea'. By The Girl in the Polka Dot Dress. It was about 6pm on Sunday night while I was cooking dinner that I realised it was World Baking Day! Although initially shocked and bewildered I had not received an official memo or invitation, I quickly decided I had to find a recipe I had not baked before (as the aim was apparently meant to be) and bake before I missed out on this sweet and delicious day completely! Mother’s Day Picnic in the Park. This one is one of...

First, it is not associated with one of Cambridge's 31 colleges but stands as an international visitor research institute. Isaac Newton Institute, 20 Clarkson Road, Cambridge.
