Peachy Tarts: Fig Bars and flu
http://peachytarts.blogspot.com/2010/09/fig-bars-and-flu.html
A Journey Through the World of All Things Sweet. Wednesday, 29 September 2010. Fig Bars and flu. Anyway, I found this recipe for Fig Bars. Which seemed to be a happy mix of traybake and fig rolls. The flour based mix forms both the base and the crumble topping (so one less bowl, which is always good) and the figs are jammy, sweet, slightly spicy and wonderfully warming. Truly lovely. 18 November 2010 at 09:33. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A Member of the. Fig Bars and flu.

Peachy Tarts: March 2009
http://peachytarts.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
A Journey Through the World of All Things Sweet. Friday, 27 March 2009. Seeing as birthday cards to me arrived late and my sister's never even turned up, I've decided the (Royal mail, of course) post is too unreliable to send anything of monetary value through it. With that in mind, I decided to send some baked goods instead. I was lucky enough to be given loads of lovely cook books for my birthday so I took this recipe for Lemon and Poppyseed. And here they are finished:. To a quarter cup apparently.

Peachy Tarts: August 2010
http://peachytarts.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
A Journey Through the World of All Things Sweet. Monday, 23 August 2010. It's feeling distincly autumnal here at the moment and there's no complaints from me. I wasn't awake to experience it but apparently last night we had a storm of biblical proportions that caused some flooding in places. Hooray for living at the top of a hill! We picked 3 plastic tubs worth of beautiful berries, some big and small, some sweet, some sour, but all delicious and completely free! Blackberry and Coconut Squares. Heat oven...

Peachy Tarts: April 2009
http://peachytarts.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
A Journey Through the World of All Things Sweet. Thursday, 23 April 2009. Simnel Muffins and Brownies. Dieting over Easter is tricky. So instead of baking a large simnel. Cake as I have done in previous years, I made a few simnel. Muffins to share around my family. I've got several books with recipes for simnel. Muffins/cupcakes but I settled on the recipe from the Crabapple. To decorate the top instead of icing and a chocolate mini egg as I loathe the combination of dried fruit with chocolate. Ergh.
