Saturday, October 13, 2012. Installing cable system for ailerons. In a previous write up I showed you how to cut out and build your ailerons. There are several ways to set up your ailerons and “power” them. One of the more common ways is to use piano wire where each wing will have its own dedicated servo. This way works great but requires more work and doesn't seem to work as well. In this write up we will be using a Push Cable made by Sullivan. This size is .032 w/Gold-N-Clevis 36”. Monday, May 9, 2011. Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IXc Tam#60319 Part 2. I was pleasantly surprised with the hinges in the kit. They were easy to use and worked well. One bit of advice when working on them is to add a little bit of glue on the photo etch so it does not move in the joint and does not pop back out. Make sure you trim the photo etch so it does not bind in the joint. Labels: Model Airplane Weathering. Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IXc. Monday, May 2, 2011. Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IXc Tam#60319. Sunday, November 3, 2013. Tamiya 1:32 F-14A Tomcat. Ever since TOP GUN, I have been in love with the Tomcat. The new release of Tamiya's updated kit gave me an excuse to build another cat. The kit appears to be pretty close to the older kit they have released nearly two decades ago. The biggest upgrade was for modern weaponry including laser guided bombs and a LANTIRN target pod. The decals for the kit is for the VF-154 Black Knights. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Big Selection, Low Price. Dragon 1/35 M4A2...
