Wednesday, December 15, 2010. In a recent student group we looked at how much time young people spend texting or on their phones. Most of their waking hours are hooked up to these fascinating hand-held devices which have internet and email access, music, a keyboard and games. I was stunned by the reality of their preoccupation with a small electronic device. What am I missing? What are young people who spend 16 hours per day attached to their phones missing?
