Human-Powered Mountaineers : November 2014
http://humanpoweredmountaineers.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Adventure blog of Chris Bangs. Thursday, November 27, 2014. The Courage to Speak Softly. Who wants to talk about divorce? It can be a painful subject, and it's what I went through last ski season. Sprinting over rocks, and roots, I feel connected to the trail. The trail has been there for me lately, or better yet, I've been there more and more, on the trail, with running shoes, my thoughts, and the emotion. If the world gets you down, don't be afraid to wrestle it." Birdy (new tunes). Well, I call him Hulk Bender f...

Adventure blog of Chris Bangs. Monday, August 10, 2015. Hitch'n Rides in Stolen Cars. Hitch-hiking through Washington in the late spring 1997, I was picked up by a drunk ex-con named Darrel in a stolen car. By the time we got pulled over by the police, I was driving the stolen car. The first ten minutes of the ride I will never fo...
