I am in the story. Musings on motherhood, wifedom, childcare, friendship, faith and daily life. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. My dear friend had her baby last night! I'm so excited for the Prestrud family, and little Courtney Jo. I'm always amazed about how God fashioned us to live inside our mother's womb, and then to draw our own breath. I know the joy that comes with having older kids, and I'm well aware that I'll find so many gifts by sharing in their learning and what is happening at school. I'm also aware by now that her going off to school doesn't mean we still won't share all kinds of moments. It's just the end of a chapter, and the beginning of a new one. P" Is NOT for Perfect.

We were able to share the day with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Mary, Uncle Steve, Amber and Alyssa. We celebrated Alyssa's b-day at our house after. We missed Great Grandma and Grandpa, but after Grandma's fall, she is being careful. Michelle and Alicia were able to watch her dance as well. Bella got 3 beautiful bouquets of flowers!
