My last post was about the great weather, and now it's fall, y'all. Yesterday, the dog, the boy and I all hit the road. The west wind was howling, so we took off to the east. Running in Central Illinois and living to blog about it. Thursday, November 27, 2008. I got up and grabbed Sadie and we headed out for a 'Thanksgiving Day Run'. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! The sun was a big orange ball in the west and we headed out to the country. Iced Knees: Allerton 2008.

Running in Central Illinois and living to blog about it. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Today was my favorite race, The Allerton Park Trail Run. We had some rain a few days this week, so I was concerned about the course. It turns out my worries were valid. The first water hazard was one we usually could jump over with ease. It comes within a mile of the start, so you're not dead tired. But, this year, too much rain made it impossible to avoid. Everybody got their shoes wet. You need more blog posts about beer.
