Terrible Movie Nights: September 2014
http://terriblemovienights.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Watched September 14, 2014. Starring: James Woods, Daniel Baldwin, Sheryl Lee. There are a lot of montages in this movie, pretty much every action scene is a montage. There is a party montage, multiple vampire death montages, it makes the action very strange. James Woods's character is super weird. When he first beats up Padre he asks him if it give him wood. Then it becomes a running joke, it's really weird and not funny. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Watched August 31, 2014.

Terrible Movie Nights: April 2015
http://terriblemovienights.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Curse of the Devil. Watched April 13, 2015. Starring: Paul Naschy, Fabiola Falcon, Mariano Vidal Medina, Martiza Olivares. The VHS tape we watched broke about halfway through so I though that curse of the devil is pretty strong. It made a crazy noise in the VCR and it just wouldn't continue, I've never had a tape do what this one did. Luckily this movie is available in its entirety on Youtube and it's a much better version than the copy that broke. Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

Friday, March 27, 2015. Watched March 13, 2015. Starring: Hiroko Shimabukuro, Kenji Harada, Ryo Kara. I've been trying to find more movies from the mid-'90s that have visualizations of the Internet experience. I find it fascinating the various attempts to make code and early websites look visually appealing. This search led me to Andromedia, a film by Takashi Miike. Mai's half brother meets his end by being crucified by his pile of computer monitors and wires. I did not understand what was going on w...

What's New on the Avenue? People always ask me what's new, so I'm writing my answers down. Let’s pretend I post every day. It was already too late last night when I got back from SCIT. And I still had to stabilize and clear my pinot grigio. Since I had a 7:30 am meeting downtown, you’ll forgive me for not posting about any of that. Tonight after a fraternity alumni event, I went to PHI. With Uncle Nick and Fastboy. I might sleep through studio tomorrow. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. To the best...
