Housewife on a Shoestring: Personalized Christmas ornaments on a budget
http://housewifeonashoestring.blogspot.com/2010/11/personalized-christmas-ornaments-on.html
Monday, November 29, 2010. Personalized Christmas ornaments on a budget. Post one of several. My holiday ornaments are in terrible shape. I have been using the same ones my entire adult life. They are scuffed and sad looking thanks to curious toddler hands and climbing kittens and gigantic dog tails. New ornaments are not the cheapest things in the world. To get a deal you really have to buy the same old colored glass balls. Today's project is snowman ornaments. Materials for one dozen:. Total cost for 1...

I'm just saying...: Milestones
http://tspielberg.blogspot.com/2012/05/milestones.html
Navel-gazing, blather, minutiae. I have been seeing hundreds of Facebook and Sybermoms posts about everybody's 8th-graders graduating and getting ready for high school. I am sincerely happy for all of them, especially my CC2 friends' kids (all of us who had babies in 1998 and have been posting/meeting up ever since) but it really hit me today, for some reason. How has so much time gone by? 2016 is going to be so hard, when all her former classmates/friends/peers graduate from high school.

Across a parking lot, one will certainly turn around because he knows there is a cousin, an aunt, a niece or another sibling calling him. Is a whole other story. A lack of ammunition doesn't bother Bull though. The lack of a telephone was apparently a minor detail to be worked out, however. He grabbed the dude in a headloc...Bull,...

Working for the Man Every Night and Day. A lot of people have this idea that working from home is the mother lode and you get to sit around in your bathrobe eating peanut butter straight out of the jar while playing Farm Town and someone. You really can sit around in your bathrobe if you insist. Use housing expenses as. Save money o...

I'm just saying...: Decade
http://tspielberg.blogspot.com/2012/06/decade.html
Navel-gazing, blather, minutiae. So 10 years ago at just about this time, more or less, my friend Pam came to pick Hannah up to take her to their house so I could get some downtime and H. could play with her preschool buddy Laura. I need to find a way to get that into a digital format - I have wanted to show it to Emily ever since then. Finally, around the scene where the controller says "Bad news; the fog's getting thicker" and then a guy jumps in and says "And Leon's getting LARGER! She was really gorg...
