Tuesday, September 25, 2012. To Haiti and Back: Part Two. We did wake up on time and went to the courtyard to meet Ivinge at our agreed upon time. This was our first real life lesson in Haitian time. Having no idea how long it would take us to get to the airport, we were getting antsy. But now we knew how to contact Ivinge! So Mitch called him and all he could really understand from the other end was, "Menning! Still, we were glad to have Ivinge there with us to make sure we got where we needed to go.

This Blessed Life: February 2012
http://thisblessedlife-km.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 10, 2012. A Letter To My Son. Dear Boy of Mine,. I wish so much that I could be with you tomorrow to wish you a Happy Second Birthday! A big sloppy kiss rather than just the framed picture of you that we have in our dining room. For now, sweet boy, I am forced to trust God with His timing. Usually it's with feet kicking and sometimes with fists to the sky, but God's working something in us through all of this waiting. Loving you from way too far away,. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

This Blessed Life: December 2011
http://thisblessedlife-km.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 3, 2011. It came on Thursday of this week and I still can't quite believe it. The amazing orphanage where our children currently live, sent little boy's handprints and a Thanksgiving picture made from little girl's hand and feet tracings! My God who holds all people, all time, all everything in his loving hands. Including me. Including my family, even though we are apart. Yes, my children in Haiti are real. And so is my God! http://windypicnics.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sword Fights, Seasons and Peanut Butter Sandwiches. Saturday, November 7, 2009. I Knew It Was Going to Happen. I could no longer deny it. Zane desperately needed a new coif. His little locks were curly when wet and then straggled down to the center of his nose when dry. This growing mane was just no longer cutting it for us (laugh with me! So on Tuesday night, I finally took some sharp scissors to a moving/dancing/bouncing-target baby. Turned into a little boy! Labels: Zanes 1st Haircut. It's Gonna Be a ...

Have fun running and swimming now that those dang hips and legs are working right! We love and miss you so much! Anderson, Party of Five!
