Because the world is full of wonder. New house, new sky. Moving house means a whole new patch of sky to explore! The Geminids have been a feast for meteor watchers. All work and no play makes for a wishful existence, especially on a sunny evening. It’s rainbow weather out there. So where better to be than outside? A clear blue sky can relax, calm and positively energise a tired mind. Sun showers bring a peculiar light and refreshing burst of softly hissing rain. New house, new sky. Wild horses of newbury.

Because the world is full of wonder. January 13, 2011. Middot; 3 comments. What are you, all dusky pink, not husky in your chirruping flock? Badger heads and badger tails, black and white taking flight to come and get some lunch. I have a hunch I’ve seen you before just not this close to my back door. You know. You look. You see my movement and check me out. Is it safe to keep eating? I take a picture, quick, and disappear leaving you to feed. Tagged as: aegithalis caudatus. 32; long-tailed tit. Looking ...

Because the world is full of wonder. New house, new sky. August 14, 2012. Middot; 0 comments. Sun, Moon and Stars. The refurb was over and done with quickly enough. The site was ready to go back online. Then I moved house. It didn’t have to be, it never has to be, but it always seems to turn out that way. Life is calming down, although the refurbishment of the house will take longer than the site! So this is my new sky. All images taken on an iPhone. New house, new sky. Wild horses of newbury. Eccentrically Colin: October 2009

Monday, 5 October 2009. The Book Sellers Of Appledore. My time as Writer-in-Residence at the Appledore Book Festival has finally run out. It was an experience I'll never forget. I met so many kind and creative people and made a lot of new friends too. The Festival could not have run so smoothly without meticulous planning by the Committee members and the hard work of the Volunteers. Well done everyone! September swaggered in,. Holding on to its pledges. A stretch was offered. For me to take. Yep, ol' vis...

Eccentrically Colin: The fly mows
http://appledorebookfestival.blogspot.com/2010/03/fly-mows.html
Wednesday, 3 March 2010. In my previous blog I posted a piece of hastily assembled, but highly creative work and I called it Desk Art. Well, since then I have received a number of pieces of work from readers of the North Devon Journal who now call themselves desk artists. If you are a desk artist and wish to have your work represented on this page, please get in contact with me. Http:/ www.inclusifolk.com/. Http:/ www.eccentricclub.co.uk/.
