Wednesday, August 24, 2011. 15th Post - Second full week. So I've started my second full week of chemo. Like I said, I'm having the rest of my treatments done locally under the expert care of Dr. M. Warshawsky. The office is right around the corner from me, and it's nice to be able to have all the comforts of being at home. I had my Monday Bleo infusion scheduled for the afternoon. Its only about a 20 minute/half hour process, so I figured I'd do it in the afternoon, and then go straight home. Monday, October 31, 2011. 17th Post - Catchup (big time). The sores finally subsided a few days later, and the next week or so was pretty uneventful - I think. I had my second Monday treatment, went to work, kids got ready for the new school year - regular stuff. 160;My white blood cell counts were low, so I was given some booster shots, so I wouldn't go into cycle 3 with low counts. Thursday, September 1, 2011. 16th Post – Hurricane Irene. I’m pleased to be able to report that I’ve completed my second full week, and one additional Monday. Which means for all you arithmetically challenged readers, that I have one more Monday and one more full week left, and then please G-d – DONE! Before I get carried away, I need to backtrack a little. To be honest, when I wrote the last post at the beginning of last week, I was really not very comfortable.
