After a day of overcast conditions, it was great to have beams of sunlight enter the window. But brisk winds sent flakes zooming past in streaks of glitter. I remember having to go downstairs, outside and in through the front doors of our church/warehouse. I had to lift my skirts and train to keep from dragging mud into the church!
