I love alleyways. Narrow, often winding paths that snake between buildings. In urban settings, in particular, they often seem to provide glimpses into the daily life of residents. Their narrowness frequently results in interesting plays of light and shadow. I was recently reminded of my fascination with alleyways by this article.
