Teachers sharing their work with Flash: Robert Hart, Intuitive Media, SuperClubsPLUSs and ICTOPUS
http://flashteachers.blogspot.com/2008/02/robert-hart-intuitive-media-and.html
Teachers sharing their work with Flash. Monday, 4 February 2008. Robert Hart, Intuitive Media, SuperClubsPLUSs and ICTOPUS. Bob's work greatly interests me. As he is encouraging young children to design their own web sites, some day they may begin to use Flash! I've offered to be an expert for them. Before it was deleted by Heather Govier and the ICTOPUS team. At the moment I've lost complete faith in their objectivity. Posted by Geoff Dellow at 20:38. I am interesed in using flash in the classroom.

http://myulverston.blogspot.com/2008/10/global-warming-facts.html
Friday, 3 October 2008. Global Warming - facts. Many people suggest that global warming doesn't exist. Here are the facts as presented by the Met Office. The black line represents the average temperature change of actual observed figures. Is it rising, steady or going down? The green area represents predictions from various sources as to what that would be if no human activity was taking place. My conclusions are that:. Average temperatures are rising. The predicted estimates are about right. Great place...

My Ulverston: Fell runners 'enjoy' the challenge of the severe weather
http://myulverston.blogspot.com/2008/10/fell-runners-enjoy-challenge-of-severe.html
Sunday, 26 October 2008. Fell runners 'enjoy' the challenge of the severe weather. Not the slant given by the reporting on the news. Even by the official news reports. First, I am not well informed of all the facts but this for me raises an important issue:. Can we not be allowed to risk our lives doing things we want to even though sometimes we get it wrong? If I kill myself - so be it - that is what makes life worth living! The big question is - do I cause problems for others? Share views on any topic ...

My Ulverston: A new site for Ulverston - www.visitulverston.com
http://myulverston.blogspot.com/2010/10/new-site-for-ulverston.html
Sunday, 10 October 2010. A new site for Ulverston - www.visitulverston.com. Now completely independently of the council a private individual is producing a web site for tourists that is something that is already special and will get better as more and more is added to it and others chip in to help. Let's hope it makes a real impact next season. Have a look at www.visitulverston.com. The more references to it, the higher it will rise in the Google ratings. I suggest you to put facebook likes button.

My Ulverston: Coro packed for a concert last night !
http://myulverston.blogspot.com/2009/01/coro-packed-for-concert-last-night.html
Sunday, 4 January 2009. Coro packed for a concert last night! Not a seat left! A fun 'classical' concert was attended by several hundred politely happy people in Ulverston's Coro on Saturday 4th January. It was Manchester Camerata's. First concert of the year 2009 and I bet you missed it! Manchester Camerata’s New Year concert this year is Viennese with a difference! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment form? Why I am here!

Saturday, 18 October 2008. Art Trail 9 and 10. So tell us about yourselves! I just love exploring smooth flowing abstract shapes in Pottery. Their dramatic shapes look great in amongst plants and on the earth of the garden. We will also have works from several other people who love working with clay on display. Perhaps you'd like to join us! Because they are stoneware they don't deteriorate, even in severe weather - hot sun to freezing snow! Take a walk in our garden at your own risk! Art Trail 1 and 2.
