Hampi | On the Road Again

https://intherainandsun.wordpress.com/2011/12/26/hampi

On the Road Again. Asymp; 4 Comments. The oldest human settlements on earth. Preface: I wrote this article for a famous travel magazine. It could not find a place there, so it goes here. Other side of the river. In Hampi village you can find all kind of restaurants from small homes serving Indian thali to German bakeries. Mango tree on the river bank is a famous place to eat made popular by lonely planet guide books; it is an authentic south Indian food experience. A word of caution. Larr; Previous post.

On the Road Again. Asymp; 6 Comments. No, I have not been there yet. My dream of international travel was Bagger 288. Ed by German consulate when they rejected my dependent-tourist visa to Germany? But still two of my poems made it to Canada without a passport or any of this visa shit. I am promised a copy of the magazine. I’m waiting to see my name in print. This is my second international publication after one of my Haiku got published in Croatia. This post just an attempt at a publicity stint…. Fill i...

Devenahalli Fort | On the Road Again

https://intherainandsun.wordpress.com/2012/04/12/devenahalli-fort

On the Road Again. Asymp; 2 Comments. From what I learnt in the history books:. Sooner or later they are gonna build big apartments, hotels, and malls all around and on what is left of the fort. It will just exist as an un-regarded sentence in your child’s history book. Like Oscar Wilde said: we know the price of everything and value of nothing. Some of the pics …. Larr; Previous post. A 100-day chronicle of all things silly. Day 96: FDI (Feeling Densely Irritated). India is a funny country. On one hand we are utterly proud that we gained independence from Western imperialist power about 65 years back. On the other hand, our ministers want 51% foreign direct investment, as in inviting Walmarts and co to set up shop. Funny, yeah. PS The rant, I know. Can’t help. Feeling sleepy. Girl in the Rain. A Displaced Seattleite Wandering the Globe. Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Well, the President Knows…. Posted in Foreign Service Life. At 4:48 pm by graceandpoise. The following was heartening to read today in President Obama’s letter to federal employees:. 8230;] Today, I wanted to take a moment to tell you what you mean to me — and to our country. Well said, Mr. President. Now, if only we could get the American public, or at least other politicians, to see things this way. R J C 1999-2013.

Fabricio Andrade

Sábado, 19 de janeiro de 2013. Talvez eu ainda esteja,. Recolhendo aqueles cacos, desatando os nós. Respirando fundo, despindo-me das velhas mágoas. Aprendendo a ouvir meu silêncio. E quantas vezes levantei e enxerguei no espelho. O trem já va...

Amo la sincerità e rifuggo l'ipocrisia. Amo rilassarmi e pensare. Ci vedono come navi, felici.
