Actually, it snowed yesterday. Been about a year since we've seen snow, but kirby has a good memory. They were in the truck when it started snowing and he told Chris they needed to go home so he could get his shovel out for the snow. Other good news is Kirby is now wearing underwear full time! He will probably love it more when Chris gets the box done and full of pea gravel to dig in. Digging is one of his favorite things to do. It's not a good one, but about as good as I could get considering Kirby now knows to run or stay for pictures. He can smile if he feels like it, and sit still? What does that mean? He will also have to have vaccine boosters more often than other kids, and we'll have to keep a close eye on him when he comes down with even low grade fevers. Saturday, October 4, 2008.

As some may or may not know, we went to Iowa City for K's 6 month post surgery checkup and he came out GREAT! We don't have to go back for 1 year. We went to Virgina/Washington DC to see Joe, Heather and fam and had a good trip. The route back was a little quirky and we got to see Grandma Peach which was really nice. Kirby went back at 8:15 and the surgeon came out at 12:15. The procedure was laparoscopic, they did not have to do a full open which was good news. Pre-surgery - 8.6. Post - surgery - 8.2.
