Today during music therapy, Jacob cracked his first smile since the transplant. July 13, 2011. Jacob, age 15, has aplastic anemia. Jacob lives in Lincoln, California with his mother and sister. Jacob loves fishing, swimming, and skateboarding. One of his true passions is riding dirt bikes and he holds an American Bicycle Association BMX card. When not enjoying these outdoor activities, he plays the violin, trumpet, and flute. Back in the Hospital. Prayers and a Birthday. Please Keep Praying….

Back in the Hospital. Please pray for Jacob’s healing and relief of pain. Pray that the liquid nutrition will sustain him and help him to improve in all areas including raising his white blood cells. Pray that God would give him strength and courage to press on and keep fighting until healing comes. Pray for Teresa to get some breaks and refreshment so she can be there for Jacob. Prayers and a Birthday. Jacob’s Mucositis is the biggest area of concern right now. It is causing very painful sores on his throat on down to his stomach. As they suction out the saliva in his mouth, they are pulling out a lot of blood too. He is also getting a lot of blood transfusions. Please pray for the healing of these sores! Jacob Lollback Memorial Board Race Day. The Jacob Lollback Memorial Board Race Day is held at Yamba’s Main Beach at the start of each season to commemorate the life of Jacob Lollback, who tragically drowned in a diving accident on the 22nd September 2009, at the age of 20. The 2015 event will take place on Saturday, September 26th at Main Beach Yamba. Entries through the SLSA Carnival Manager System open on Tuesday 1st September and close Tuesday 22nd September.
