Sunday, April 19, 2009. Alisa with her sister's two kids, Grant and Zoe. We take a trip to New Mexico once or twice a year to visit them. We talk to the kids on the phone all the time. Alisa is there "Aunt Seesa". On our European trip, we visited Scotland since it is in Alisa's ancestry. We love hearing the bagpipes. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. We got some new baby chicks born on March 17, 2011. We got 9, crazy I know, but so fun. 3 New Hampshire Red, 3 Barred Rocks, and 3 Buff Orpingtons, all brown egg layers. We'll be extending our current coop where 2 full grown hens live right now to make room for more. Zowie kicking the ball. Spring flowers are coming to life, Abby planted these sunflowers. We have enjoyed watching them transform, little by little, step by step. I love watching them come to life.the colors it brings. My dad was in a play called "Into the Woods" recently. I took the girls to see it and we loved it!
