everyday adventure: October 2008

A Trip, a Lesson and a Confession. My friend Jen and I just returned from a trip to New York. We went mostly because she lived there last summer and because I had never been. Pretty good excuses, eh. For all of you who are not detail-oriented people, I would love to use my trip to NY as a lesson in enjoying the details of life. (Don't tell anyone, but you can find some pretty amazing details almost anywhere). We not only saw the Brooklyn Bridge. we walked across it. Apparently, as our acquaintanc...Now f...

So this is the process of getting all dolled up for the SHERI DeW fireside. We went to Borders and got new notebooks to take some fierce notes while we listened. Not to worry, I donned the teal stompers for the event. So I went to Tate's to watch a movie and Brian had been hard boiling an ENTIRE dozen of eggs. He put them on the stove and forgot about them for two hours! It's been a long time since I've gotten to chill with my freshmen friends Kirk and Braden. We went to iggy's for the millionth time...

everyday adventure: Still playing catch up
http://superstac.blogspot.com/2008/03/still-playing-catch-up.html
Still playing catch up. Tay and I have been friends for almost half of our lives. We used to get the 'twin card' played on us all the time. She's gone on adventures to other places but recently moved back into town. It's so sweet of her fam to invite me to sunday dinners when I can't go home to mine. Jana and I went on a little shopping spree to the bargain-est store I've ever met. I got probably three or four shirts, a pair of big star jeans and some american eagle capris for under $20! I would LOVE to ...

Don't you do anything you shouldn't do, but whatever you do, do well and do right.". Yee-haw. My Australian flatmate, Larissa introduced me to the best thing in London since they thought of London. We went to visit a sweet spot called Primark! We ended up going to go to a musical called 'Dancin' in the Street.' We got tickets for a stellar deal. It was basically a collection of all the top hits recorded by blacks in America through the 50's, 60's and 70's. A Night in the City. My First Few Days. I arrive...

the francom's: Twins First Easter (2012)
http://francomandco.blogspot.com/2013/02/twins-first-easter-2012.html
Saturday, February 16, 2013. Twins First Easter (2012). Since Easter of THIS year is long gone, I thought I better get a move on my poor neglected blog and post about 2 years earlier Easter. It's not like these two haven't kept me busy or anything. My mom ("Mimi") made these DARLING custom Satin lavender and silver outfits for the babies for their first Easter. The pictures do not do them justice, they were to die for! So special and precious. I love these two! Posted by Kim Francom.

Tuesday, February 14, 2012. He wanted us to do a non-stress test to make sure everything was okay, and to check my contractions. The tech kept asking me if I "felt that" and a lot of the contractions I didn't really feel unless they were really strong. I had braxton-hicks contractions throughout a good part of my pregnancy so I guess I thought there would be a great difference between those and real labor ones. The birth as told by Brett:. I was trying not to look surprised so I could keep Kim calm.
