Maisielicious: March 2015
http://maisielicious.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Watching Maisie and Ella grow. Monday, March 30, 2015. Visit to the MIA. Saturday mornings are pretty busy. Twice a month we have Suomi-koulu, and once a month Maisie has Girl Scouts. When those aren't happening, there's a fencing class. This past weekend was fencing, so Ella and I decided to do something different, and took a trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. We started out with breakfast at a restaurant on Nicollet called the Copper Hen. After we finished eating, we headed down the block to th...

Follow the B family as we bumble through life. Sunday, September 23, 2012. Two years of perfection. Ok, perfection might be stretching it just a little, but in the middle of our move Max man turned two. I am still having a hard time grasping how this teeny tiny little creature. Turned into a walking, talking, sassy, awesome little person. Saturday, September 22, 2012. How big is baby? The size of a sweet potato. Up about 5ish lbs. All of the moving has left me drained so I sleep like a rock a night.

The B's Knees: Because it's October
http://nicb-thebsknees.blogspot.com/2012/10/because-its-october.html
Follow the B family as we bumble through life. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. And we live in the real world (aka the lower 48 aka a place where there is currently no snow on the ground), we decided to head to the pumpkin patch last Friday. Max was really in his element. There were sticks, "punkins," and he got to be outside so he was in heaven. GB and I had fun, too! He didn't know what to think at first. We even got a family picture with smiles on every face! Max fly more. More please! A Girl Named Carrots.

Follow the B family as we bumble through life. Saturday, March 31, 2012. Now that we are back in the swing of things in the Great White North, I feel the need to catch you up. So here is what our life has been like, I hope you don't mind the sporadic manner, but that is the way my brain works these days. Speaking of my brain, I feel like it has turned to mush the past couple of weeks. I need to figure out something to get it back firing on all cylinders. He is quite the little character. This was a littl...

The B's Knees: November 2012
http://nicb-thebsknees.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Follow the B family as we bumble through life. Monday, November 5, 2012. Watching Max crunch as he crunched the leaves and pointed out the squirrels, I realized how precious these moments are. Soon he will no longer be the constant center of attention and his world will be turned upside down. It is a weird feeling to be sad about it, but to be so excited to give him a little brother at the same time. What a lot of random. Sorry, I am tired tonight. Working on learning how those darn pedals work. Well Hel...

Maisielicious: October 2014
http://maisielicious.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Watching Maisie and Ella grow. Monday, October 20, 2014. Every October, the Minnesota teacher's union has a conference, so all the Minnesota public schools are closed for three days. Even though the union changed its name to Education Minnesota a number of years ago, the break is still mostly called "MEA," after the union's old name, Minnesota Educators' Association. But then I thought, hey, we could go to Chicago over MEA! So, we did! The girls were excited about their first airplane ride. The girls eac...

Maisielicious: November 2014
http://maisielicious.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Watching Maisie and Ella grow. Monday, November 03, 2014. Maisie is eight years old today! We celebrated her birthday with local family yesterday, which was super fun! Auntie Laura and Dylan hosted us, Gramma Liisa, and Jim. We had dinner followed by a beautiful cake that Gramma Liisa made. Maisie loved her presents - lots of clothes, all of which she liked (everyone seems to have her sparkly tops and knit pants style down! 8-year-old Maisie is delightful. Her favorite things right now include fencing.
