After a quick trip to Booker, Sophie and I did manage to leave just after lunchtime and I went home to tidy up the garden and mow the lawn (hoover up leaves). I woke early this morning and went downstairs to feed the cats and watch a film before breakfast (Maleficent.very good! Outside the snow was falling again in small, light flakes and I hoped that it wouldn't carry on and get any heavier.we didn't need a significant snowfall on the busiest day of the week at work! It might bring a tiny bit of warmth into our frigid day!

We had planned to explore the Lake District on Sunday but the weather wasn't looking its best and we all really wanted to get home and relax before I went back to work on Monday. We were up early and packed before we went to the Llama Karma Kafe for breakfast.
