Jaren Barney Benefit Blog. YOU can help make a difference! Monday, May 14, 2012. This past week has brought a new fight to Jaren's life.thyroid cancer. He received the news on Friday and is in surgery this morning at the Huntsman's Cancer Center to remove his thyroid and affected lymph nodes. We will know more this afternoon about the prognosis but we already know that Jaren is a fighter! I will post again this afternoon to keep you updated. Thanks again to ALL of you! Thursday, March 7, 2013. Sealed for time and all eternity. Jordy and I were sealed in the Bountiful Temple for time and all eternity, March 7th 2013. It was seriously such a cool experience and so very special. After the ceremony, we had a really nice lunch with our closest family and friends. It was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing!
