Fun and victory at VR Hackathon. October 20, 2014 11:10 am. So the first SF VR Hackathon. Was held this past weekend, it was historic! Tons of folks, many teams, so much innovation! Check the website for details, but from my perspective: YAY! Probably the most amazing thing to me was a shader by Chris Berke. Two triangles in the scene. It was a living world with a day/night cycle and thousands of beings scurrying around on the gorgeous terrain. Amazing! Props to Leap and the rest of the sponsors!
