Jasper Elementary School Media Center. The purpose of the JES Media Center is to develop lifelong learners by supporting the curriculum needs of the classrooms and to provide material for independent read . Ing for the students. Audiovisual equipment, including a wireless mobile computing lab and an Ipad lab, is managed by the Media Center staff for checkout to teachers. Jasper Elementary School Media Center. Rising 4th and 5th grade students are invited to participate in the Reading Bowl for the 2015 – 2016 school year. Afternoon practices will begin in September on Thursday afternoons from 2:30 – 3:30. We will talk about the reading bowl books, write questions on the books and quiz each other. What do you need to do to play on reading bowl? Read as many of the Georgia Book Award nominees. Participate in the Thursday practice sessions in the fall. Be ready to have fun!
