Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese academy of science. 长期以来,人们普遍认为植物的分枝特性主要受生长素(auxin)、细胞分裂素(cytokinin, CK)和独脚金内酯(strigolactone, SL) 三种激素的调控。 但赤霉素 (gibberellin, GA) 在分枝调控方面的作用一直被忽视。 采用GA 生物合成的抑制剂多效唑(paclobutrazol)处理, 会显著降低CK对侧芽生长的促进作用,表明CK促进分枝需要GA的参与。 与此现象相一致的是 GA 和 CK的处理能够抑制参与SL信号转导的一个F-box 蛋白基因. 上述相关研究结果以 Gibberellin promotes shoot branching in the perennial woody plant.
