With the quest to repurpose public space I noticed that the scaffoldings used during working hours would be empty during the night and on the weekends. Designed almost completely from an engineering view these structures provided a fascinating object to study and a great starting point build upon. Because they are private property no modifications should have been made to the structure itself as a more guerrilla-like approach and it had to be easily installed and removed so not to interrupt the process.

In need of a table for my living room and in part as an experiment in form and usability, this table is the result of a short but intense time in the workshop. At only 30 cm width it fits an A4 sheet of paper and that’s it. The total length of 180 cm makes up for a lack of space. It doubles as a bench for up to four persons if needed.
